Time to throw water on culture of victimhood

I see a number of pundits are claiming that those who paid their water charges feel betrayed by Fine Gael.

Well, I paid my water charges and voted for Fine Gael and do not feel betrayed by them. The people I feel betrayed me are those political parties and individuals who first said they would pay their charges then announced they would not pay and/or were opposed to charges because they were scared by the apparent success of candidates claiming to be left wing.

What those “left wing” politicians are really doing is attempting to destabilise society by creating a culture of victimhood.
