In with an election — out, out, out with Independents

May I ask President Higgins to bear in mind that at a cost €40 million a further General Election may well be the best option for the Irish people when one considers that Department of Finance officials have confirmed that Independent TDs had already submitted proposals costing €13 billion.

Independents with their “selfish self-serving shopping lists” must be shown the door by Kenny and Martin.

It is not to the benefit of the Irish people that such self-centred trading in power is going on quite unashamedly. Any deal conceding such huge resources to pet projects of Independent TDs is unpatriotic and contrary to the common good.
