Renua can be proud it was not a populist party
While Renua ended up with no TDs, it can be proud of the fact that it was not a self serving populist party over promising to electorate for political gain, it was actually serious about wanting to be part of a future government if the numbers allowed it to be.
All is not lost, but Renua has to convince the electorate that it is not a party just for the rich but a party for all those who want open, honest government and polices that reward work, support small businesses across the country, and deliver good public services.
