Politicians need to strengthen bail laws

It has been reported (and discussed on air) that one of the country’s most dangerous sex offenders is back on the streets.

This rapist was sent back to jail earlier this year for not complying with the conditions of his release following an 18 year sentence for the violent rape of an Australian woman in 2002.

This rapist was described by a Judge as “a danger and a menace to society” and “a serious threat to the women of Cork”.
