SF past can’t be ignored

For Kerry North West TD Martin Ferris to describe claims by Cork East TD Tom Barry as “bordering on racist”, strikes me as hypocrisy in the extreme (Irish Examiner, November 5).

People in glasshouses should not throw stones.

Mr Ferris was one of a group arrested when trying to bring a boat loaded with arms into the country. They were hardly going to use these as Christmas presents for those who held a different opinion to their own.
