Some Palestinian families only have running water three days a month

I have just returned from two weeks in the Bethlehem area of the Palestinian West Bank, where I travelled as part of a fact finding tour with the YMCA.

As a member of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission, (travelling in a personal capacity), I was particularly interested in seeing how human rights were being observed in the region. What I found was profoundly shocking, an experience shared by the mainly Christian members of the group.
