Bailey’s legal team hampered by time limitation
It could be argued that most, if not all, of the restrictions placed on Bailey’s team because of the Statute of Limitations favoured the State and the forces of law and order, some elements of which have been found wanting in recent years.
The blindfold on the symbol of justice, Lady Justice represents objectivity, in that justice should be meted out objectively, without fear or favour and not that justice may choose to be blind to any element of its application, time limitations included. Is justice denied by time limitation really justice?
