Cavan Monaghan TD, Deputy Sean Conlan stated "if you don’t grovel and follow the edicts of the Taoiseach..... an attempt is made to damage your reputation".

The deputy was happy enough to grovel and be whipped by his ringmaster Enda Kenny last year to vote yes in the so called Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill, whereby if a pregnant mother feels suicidal her unborn baby's life can be ended, despite no medical evidence being found.

Since  the deputy has returned the €10,000 ring to the antiques dealer, perhaps he can now give an honourable donation towards the neonatal care of Baby Hope recently delivered at 25 weeks gestation by medical doctors because of his government's dictatorial bill.
