Shameful double standard for an Irish foreign minister

Our Foreign Minister Eamon Gilmore sympathised with the bereaved families of three Israeli youths, and with the families of all those killed in the area in recent weeks. He condemned the killings.

Shameful double standard for an Irish foreign minister

Why does he wait until Israelis are killed before sympathising with the families of people killed in the area? Surely, he is aware that over the last two weeks, as the Israel Forces searched for the missing youths, hundreds of Palestinians were detained, at least six were killed, and thousands of homes were raided.

Are Palestinian lives less worthy of his sympathy and is their killing less worthy of condemnation? For an Irish Foreign Minister, that is shameful.
