Alternative to the banks

Mallow Credit Union had its AGM for 2013. It is paying a dividend this year.

Mallow Credit Union is more secure than many a bank. It had only one year of financial problems.

Without State assistance, it recovered, and for the past two years it has been in profit.

We need a variety of financial businesses. The domination of private banks has ruined Ireland.

We need to cultivate our building societies and our credit unions.
