Tribunal costs

Having read Michael Clifford’s column (Forum, Nov 2) on Bertie Ahern a question occurred to me.

Has the Mahon Tribunal still not made a ruling regarding legal costs? Given that under the legislation setting up tribunal witnesses may be categorised as un-cooperative and have some, or all, of their legal costs withheld, is it true that this has never happened with any tribunal? If so why?
