Roma child action not in my name

To the Roma families who had children taken from them into care, and to the Roma people in general, I would like to say I am sorry.

To the Irish authorities and Government I would like to say that you do not take these actions in my name. It is not long since the Irish were being racially profiled and vilified because of the size of their skulls, their dirtiness and their laziness.

I am horrified and appalled that this could happen in Ireland in 2013.
