Questions remain over banking bailout

Regarding the banks that we have bailed out and who might be looking for further capital from the State, there are a number of questions that many voters would like answers to:

1. Why was the plight of those unable to continue paying mortgages because of reduced financial circumstances not addressed decisively two years ago in a comprehensive manner?

2. What have the banks done with the money we gave them already to deal with this?
