Questions remain over banking bailout

Regarding the banks that we have bailed out and who might be looking for further capital from the State, there are a number of questions that many voters would like answers to:

1. Why was the plight of those unable to continue paying mortgages because of reduced financial circumstances not addressed decisively two years ago in a comprehensive manner?

2. What have the banks done with the money we gave them already to deal with this?

Regarding the integrity of the present Government, there are also some questions:

1. What did Enda Kenny know about the true state of Anglo Irish Bank before the Government did and before the General Election 2011?

2. What is the real connection between Denis O’Brien and FG?

As long as these questions remain unanswered, the Government PR and spin doctors will be working overtime to keep poll figures from falling further.
