How dare Michael McGrath say that the two Anglo executives “lured the State and the taxpayers....” into a trap.

No, Mr McGrath — they lured your corrupt and incompetent party into one. I’m a taxpayer and I wasn’t consulted. There was no referendum and no consultation with the people/taxpayers on that disastrous night in 2008.

At the time — given the question marks over Anglo — I said that the hair-brained and disastrous guarantee that your party decided to impose should have had the same caveat as a lowly car insurance policy — you’re declaring something as true and if you’re lying the policy is null and void.
