Munster boost

Sport often affords a morale boost in difficult times.

The eyes of Ireland will be on Montpellier today to see if the Munster rugby team can once again turn the form book on its head in the Heineken Cup semi-final.

Today’s opponents, Clermont Auvergne, have been enjoying a phenomenal season, winning all their Heineken Cup games, including a double over reigning champions and arch Munster rivals Leinster. As a result, the French team is hotly fancied to win today.
