Backroom deals, cosy cabals no way to go

Our forests, gas, oil, and banks have either been expropriated, given away, or simply lost over the last few years.

Backroom deals, cosy cabals no way to go

We don’t know who owns or controls large tracts of our vital national infrastructure.

We now have the spectre of having our property subject to compulsory purchase so that faceless oligarchs and speculators can have access to 2,500 wind turbines in the midlands.

The majority of land owners who do not want turbines on their land now are faced with the prospect of having access roads and power lines forced through their property so that their neighbours can reap the rather dubious benefits of having a wind turbine or two on their land.

Can we rely on our politicians? Not likely. We need to stand up and let those in authority know that backroom deals and cosy cabals are not the way to run this country.
