Vaccine side effects

I refer to the article ‘No Support for children suffering vaccine side-effect’ by Catherine Shanahan (Sept 29).

We sympathise with the parents of Swine Flu vaccine victims and their frustration with Government. Many of our children suffered catastrophic injuries and death following their reaction to the Whooping Cough vaccine introduced into Ireland as part of the Government immunisation programme in the late 1950s.

We sincerely hope that Swine Flu vaccine victims will not be waiting as long as the Whooping Cough vaccine victims for answers and redress.
