Facing vote reality

The reality, now the forecast of 60%- 40% for yes materialised, is that only 10% + 1 of the Irish people, who voted, swung the yes vote!

Facing vote reality

This is a long way off “the Irish people”.

That 10%+1 can easily be attributed to the unfair advantage/access that the Government had with the media and the “contemptuous scaremongering”.

This is a hollow victory at best.

Could this be counted as fair democracy?

Democracy seems to take the shape of those that can afford it, and the ordinary people pay the “real price”.
