The dangers from weapons of mass destruction
Have we become so entrenched in our habits that we cannot see the folly of our ways?
Does the spectre of world hunger not concern us, the extreme inequities and injustices of our world, the prevalence of violence and brutality, the divisiveness that is everywhere, the racism?
Are we, who set foot on the Moon, not capable of solving the problems on planet Earth?
What is our purpose in life? Is it to exploit the natural resources of our planet to the hilt, or is it to conserve and protect all of life into the future for all generations hopefully to come?
Many respected intellects have foreseen the immensity of the crisis man now faces and warned of its dangers; they have all made substantially the same diagnoses... the problem of our times arises out of our sense of values which govern our priorities.
We must undergo a fundamental change of consciousness if we are to fulfil our life’s potential.
