POINT taken about the abuse of alcohol — especially below-cost selling to teenagers and underage drinkers.

But our politicians left a Dáil bar and restaurant bill unpaid of €68,000 in mid-July 2011.

When I was growing up we were led to believe that leadership came from the top. Is the Dáil bar subsidised (cheap drink) and was the taxpayer funding the credit owed? ‘‘Barman... top shelf please!’’
