Dignified Norris is a true and loyal patriot

MANY commentators have recently referred to the circumlocution of loyalty, and truth.

We’ve grown accustomed to sales talk, the hard sell and the soft sell, the big package, the small print, as the truth can often be so dreadfully dull. To tell the truth is difficult, the whole truth dangerous and nothing but the truth downright disastrous.

A cynic might well identify the present situation as the unique bastion for political jargon. However, there are those who can read between the lines, and will recognise circumlocution for what it really is, an ability not so much to elucidate the truth as to hide it. Finally, when the history of this present period will be written, David Norris will stand head and shoulders above his contemporaries as a loyal patriot with a desire to serve his country. Loyalty to one’s country is the coinage to patriotism. Norris has shown during the latter end of the presidential campaign a dignity and loyalty way above the call of duty.
