Shoppers must be vigilant
I had such an experience a few days ago when I bought what I perceived to be a replacement ink cartridge for my printer for 90% of what I paid a few months previously. My initial reaction was “it’s great to see that some things are coming down in price”. However, my joy was short-lived. When I got home and removed the used cartridge from my printer, I discovered that the new one was only two-thirds the size of the old one. Later, I found out that such rip-off prices aren’t the case in all stores, but shoppers had better be extra vigilant and keep old packaging with the prices written on them and get out their reading glasses to see the fine print, such as weight and volume.
