THE ever-growing presence of surveillance cameras and security systems is the result of a society of extreme distrust and criminality.

There is hardly a street or a town where anybody can walk about without being monitored or recorded. Things are so bad that even churches now have extensive CCTV in place, which is hardly conducive to an atmosphere of peace and serenity.

The “surveillance society” is now a very real manifestation, which is symptomatic of a society on the road to hell, and hard evidence of an ineffective and failed education system.
