Reckless actions

HOW very ironic that Mary Coughlan’s last act will be to dump 1,200 primary teachers on the dole just before the classrooms are flooded with thousands of extra students.

The same is going to happen in secondary schools, according to the Department of Education.

I hope that she never has to face an extra 1,200 people being forced to join the 500 of us who are already chasing the occasional job that appears in the paper. At least she will no longer have to come face-to-face with the misery inflicted by the reckless actions of the last cabinet.
