No one is indispensable

BRIAN COWEN has suffered a perfect storm during his tenure as Taoiseach — one that no politician could have wished for.

There is no doubt of the effort and time he has devoted to trying to keep the country and economy stay afloat, and how much the effort might have taken from him personally.

Mr Cowen faces a vote of confidence in his role today.
