I AM writing in response and support to the letter from Enda Keannelly published recently.
Ireland should now turn to Europe, without forgetting its own rich culture

As one of the many French students living in Ireland (Cork), I have an outsider opinion, and cannot say ‘proud to be Irish’.

But I can confirm without any doubt that being Irish is not being British, or at least that Irish and British are not considered to be the same.
