A disservice

BERTIE AHERN has done us all a disservice by not standing for re-election, or as a presidential candidate.

Had he done so he would have been exposed to the electorate during his door-to-door canvassing (if he had the courage to go out on the streets) and be made to answer unplanned media questions.

His closeted opinion of himself would be shattered, once out of Drumcondra.
