Let them get on with it

WILL the Dáil sit over the Christmas period to enact the budget legislation in time for the new year, or will this bunch of stupid deputies once again fail to gauge the country’s mood and take their usual Christmas break?

If they have an ounce of decency, they should sit right through, except Christmas Day, and get the legislation enacted before the end of the year.

Then we could start the new year with a general election and the process of renewal.
