A vote for Sunday

FOLLOWING the Green party’s decision finally to put this Government out of its misery, perhaps the election should be held on a Sunday.

In this way many more voters should be able to go to the polls and have some say in the formation of the next government.

A Sunday election would not cause problems for families already under stress through having to organise childcare for schoolgoing children who won’t be in class because their schools have been turned into polling stations.
