HSE redundancies - Initiative is long overdue

Yesterday’s attack on Health Minister Mary Harney should be roundly deplored.

Such publicity stunts go beyond the bounds of legitimate protest.

It was an affront to our democracy, because it amounted to an attack on society as a whole. Therefore, it should be hoped that the culprit is punished in a manner that will demonstrate society’s revulsion at such behaviour.
