IN a previous era, people used to sacrifice their children to Molech.

The god of our time is The Markets. Countries are almost in despair trying to keep The Markets happy. Our leaders are telling us we need to make greater sacrifices in order to avoid the wrath of The Markets. Look at Ireland, for example. The country is on its knees. Do you think The Markets care in the least whether ordinary people can still avail of public services? Where is all this going to end? Will The Markets be looking for child sacrifice next ?
