Hard to figure
I had to look it up as I’d heard people in loud sportscoats who had been in America use it. The closest one could come to it in a language would be, “well fancy, that”, “how about that?” or, in Kerry English, “yerra moléir“.
This linguistic atrocity is to be sequestered with rubbish like “second guess”, “I was like oh my gawd” and “touch base”.
