Ryanair shows the way to economic success
Following the evaporation of the building bubble, the world’s airlines were among the first casualties, with predictions that up to half of them were in danger of collapse, and Ryanair was no exception.
But recent news defies the most optimistic forecasts. Ryanair has flown back into the black as profits triple to €319m. Michael O’Leary was able to deliver a dividend to his shareholders for the first time in the airline’s 25-year history.
