All Ryanair aircraft are fuelled in accordance with regulations set out by the IAA. All flights carry, as a minimum, taxiing fuel, trip fuel, diversion fuel, reserve fuel, holding fuel and contingency fuel for every journey.

The aircraft in question departed with considerably more fuel than legally required for the flight plan and landed with almost 30 minutes of reserve fuel remaining.
