Mortgage-holders do not deserve support

I AM strongly opposed to help for reckless banks or mortgage-holders who knew better than anyone what level of debt they could afford.

Home-owners could have stood up to the increasing demands of banks and builders, but they instead mysteriously found money from somewhere to pay ludicrous deposits.

It is interesting that these same people can’t now do the same when they really need to.
