MOST parents are too busy trying to stay ahead of the posse, paying mortgages and trying to make sure they’ll have a job next week to spend as much time as they would like looking over their children’s shoulder to consider what they are watching on the internet.

Many would like the opportunity to protect their children from the worst aspects of the internet and some of the more questionable aspects of online social networking.

This seems a terrible challenge, especially for those who are not as fluent in technology as their children. It cannot be beyond our wit to devise an accessible scheme to reassure parents and protect children better than we are doing at the moment.
