Dukes of hazard

SO in return for taking on extra responsibilities, 70 worthy individuals in a failed bank are to get pay increases ... you really can’t make this stuff up.

Across the country and the rest of the world people are taking on increasing workloads and, yes, greater responsibilities, for zero pay increases.

Yet again the parallel universe of banking thumbs its nose at taxpayers and even manages to get former Finance Minister Alan Dukes to spin the line that this is perfectly acceptable.

Then again it was the same Alan Dukes who rescued AIB and made sure the taxpayer got nothing in return ... so no real change then.
