Martin does us proud

ASSOCIATED Press reported last week that some European governments are reluctant to investigate the Dubai killing of the Hamas leader in case the results prove that Israel was involved.

In short, these important European countries are afraid of Israel.

Ann Cahill writes (March 8) that Foreign Minister Micheál Martin is fighting a one-man battle in the EU to highlight the oppression of the Palestinians. May I commend the minister and the Government for taking this principled stance.
