WITH Ryanair trying to push – no, bully – the Government on the use of Terminal Six in Dublin airport I can bet what Michael O’Leary would really like next Christmas is a 5% or 10% “stake” in our democratically elected government.

Of course it’s just a coinicidence that the hangar is currently used by Ryanair’s chief rival, Aer Lingus.

Then there’s the €10 air travel tax the Government charges and that Ryanair routinely criticises in the media as damaging to tourism. Well, it could make a start by not charging punters €5 per flight booked on a credit card – even though it’s a single transaction costing Ryanair cents to process.
