Dependence on a powerful neighbour has not been good for Irish farming

It identifies neither causes nor solutions to the impending destruction of Irish agriculture.

The causes are simple: an overvalued euro, a policy U-turn by the EU on agriculture and an Irish government which has surrendered all control over farming to Brussels.
