Act on abuse cover-up

IT is time for the gardaí to take action against those who have colluded in covering up the crimes of child-abusing priests.

A TV3 special report (June 15) highlighted once more the response of the Dublin diocese in not only covering up for the abuser, but actively deceiving those who had suffered at the hands of those abusers.

The abusers ought to be charged regardless of any grotesque indemnity deal.
