Politicians’ expenses

HOW pathetic are members of the Oireachtas that it will require a change in the law before their disgusting salaries, expenses, allowances and pensions can be reduced and even then not nearly far enough.

What a pity we don’t have patriotic civil servants in Leinster House, as they had in Westminster, who will provide details of Oireachtas members’ expense claims to the Irish media.
