Dublin food festival leaves a sour taste

I WAS one of the many people who attended the Taste of Dublin food and drink festival in Iveagh Gardens last Saturday.

It was my first time attending the event and I was looking forward to it. I went hungry, eager to try all kinds of new and exciting food. However I soon forgot about it when I saw how expensive everything was.

I had paid the €28.50 entry fee and assumed the food would be a reasonable price (token prices really to prevent mass hysteria from free food being given out).
