Equal shares

IT’S only right that the Government should guarantee the deposit accounts in credit unions, if any.

Lets be clear on this – deposit accounts earn interest, which is subject to DIRT. The accounts in the credit unions are shares accounts, not subject to DIRT. If the Government is willing to guarantee the shares in the credit unions, why not guarantee the shares in other financial institutions?
