Monumental role for scrapped machines
Have one sent to every county in the state to be placed on a pedestal on the main street of each county town.
Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern always wanted a monument to represent his time as leader of this country and although he was thinking more along the lines of the Bertie Bowl, I feel these useless machines would be a far more appropriate representation of his tenure.
After all, he was such a great admirer of them I’m sure he’d feel really proud to see them on display as he’s being chauffer-driven all around Ireland.
Surely the perfect monument to “Fianna Folly”.
