It’s high time to accentuate the positive

IT was good to see a positive story on the front page of the Irish Examiner last week (April 10).

The cost of living is dropping like never before. Between mortgage interest rate drops and the price of utilities dropping we are much better off then most would have you believe.

Nobody has experienced this collapse before. Remember most pundits are only guessing what will happen next — just like the economists — and most of those were telling us one to two years ago that the boom would never end.

We were born with free will and we have to take responsibility for our actions. We can blame the banks and developers for our troubles, but that’s only burying our heads in the sand.

If we all look this problem in the eye and decide individually we are going to do something about it and that we will not be victims we will survive and come back stronger.
