A man of the people

WHILE Enda Kenny may not have all of the desired attributes of a leader, he is nonetheless a man of the people.

Richard Bruton, named as a possible replacement, is the only other person who could be trusted to do the same. Bruton would also be firmer in keeping his minions at heel.

Self-interested politicians like Lucinda Creighton, who have done well out of FG, should perhaps go off and form their own little party. It would be apocalyptic for the country, and for FG, if people like her ever became party leader.
