Ryan's Irish solution to an Irish problem

MINISTER Eamon Ryan is learning the tricks of his trade very fast, maybe from his senior partner in government.

At the weekend, he announced that he is building a new electricity inter-connector to Wales — in order to export our excess wind electricity to Britain.

Now being a cynic maybe, could the real purpose be to import electricity the other way, which is generated by the dreaded “N word”?
