I SEE the offices of Anglo Irish Bank have been “raided” by fraud investigators. Can I assume there is very little left to find with the loot all gone?

And reminiscent of many of the tribunals, it may well be that many files are found to be missing either by fires, floods, shredders or stealth.

Maybe if a commando-style raid had been carried out many months ago, when wrongdoing was known in high places, some nuggets might have been found. As Dr Johnson once said, “had it been early had been better”.
