A slur on spring

SPRING is now officially here. Why is it that the shortest month of the year has the most variations when being mentioned on radio and TV?

“Febry”, “Febery”, “Febuary”, or even “Febuwerry”, are just some of the variations. What is wrong with February, properly pronounced?

Perhaps we should abandon all the variations and use the Irish version, Feabhra.

Roll on March!
